Me and Xiaotian went to the Chong Pang Steamboat BBQ Buffet Restaurant at Marina South last Saturday. It is said that due to the fact that the government is constructing the Integrated Resort (IR), all the steamboat BBQ restaurants at the Marina South region will be demolished. True enough, on our way there on the bus, we saw a construction site which could be the IR. Maybe Singapore's IR is the first casino built on reclaimed land, I think.

Only 12 dollars needs to be paid to the restaurant and you will be allowed to eat anything that is available in the restaurant. I consider it as a very reasonable price. Well, I am not advertising for the restaurants, but I think it is worth paying 12 dollars and eat unlimited food. The steamboat BBQ restaurants will most likely be demolished within this year, so if you want to go there, you got to be fast.

We asked for the Thai-flavoured Tom Yum soup to be poured in the metal bowl at the centre of the pot. When we were about to finish eating, I actually did two 'science experiments' by inserting a wooden ice-cream stick and a crab bone into the flame under the pot and witnessed them catching fire. Actually this is quite lame, as I had nothing better to do, haha.
