20年前，一部25集记录片【话说长江】，引起巨大的回响。20年后的今天，中国中央电视台又完成了一部33集的大型记录片【再说长江】。【再说长江】从 2004年开拍，经历2年多的时间，穿越大半个中国，踏遍长江流域12省市，以“发现新长江”的角度，突出长江这20年来的改变。
节目刚刚在今年6月间在中国中央电视台黄金时间启播。
【再说长江】的制作特色：
在制作上利用多种飞行器，对全流域进行大规模的高空拍摄。这也是中国电视史上第一次用高原直升机对整个长江源头和70多个现代冰川进行了航拍。
- 以全程高清拍摄展现长江场景，同时第一次使用杜比立体声录音技术，这两项技术手段的全新运用，将带给观众高质量的视听体验和享受。
- 记录了世界最大的水利枢纽工程（三峡大坝）、世界上最高的高原铁路（青藏铁路）、世界水利史上最大的移民（三峡百万移民潮）、世界上最大的水利工程（南水北调）等影响中国、以至全世界的世纪大工程。
- 除了记录长江自然风貌的沧桑流变、长江文明的历史迁转之外，【再说长江】也把焦点落在“人”的身上，用镜头记录生活在长江沿岸的人们的精神面貌的变化，以及他们新的梦想和新的追求。
